Wow, it's been a long time since i actually sat down and not posted something in a rush. And I'm completely sorry, but real life has been very crazy! of course i do love my world wide web readers out there, just ya know! :)
This week my Mom and Dad got re-baptized and it was so great! Our friends and family attended our church to see it and it was a beautiful moment. You could feel the newness that they felt when baptized and risen out of the water.
Afterward, everyone came over to have lunch and socialize with us. Sarah made this incredible pineapple salsa, and from the girl who doesn't usually like fruit salsas, this was SO good! I wish i could send you a taste.
A few days ago, i got my new glasses, since my old ones were about two years old and wore down from the many times Isaiah (lil bro) liked to suddenly grab them and fling them on the floor. Sweet times, but anyways on the outside it's shiny black and the inside is a hot pink. Surprisingly, it looks really good. Sophisticated, wild and a lil flair!
Next week I'm going to be an official highschooler! Im really nervous and excited at the same time, so my stomach flips whenever i think about, so i keep trying to tell my self i will be okay. but I'm really just happy to get this oppourtinuty to go to the school I'm going to because its really great and my Uncle went there and he's really great! Anyone who's in high school or was in high school have any tips, tricks, etc? Wish me luck! :)
ohh, i almost just forgot to say this!!! My mom, sister and i have been going to the cheap movie theater this last week. it's only $2 a person and you get to see an awesome movie! We saw Letters to Juliet and i highly, so VERY highly suggest this movie! It's so sweet, funny, romantic and not an ounce of trashiness. It's a defiantly to see movie! Yesterday we saw Killers, which was really funny. i had a little doubts, but it was actually really good!! Then my Dad, Sarah and i went and saw Iron Man 2. Really cool in someways but disappointing in others. (really just the trashy parts, but what do you expect with sci-fi, super heroes and a room full hard core fans?)
Either way, it was so much fun seeing all those movies and a better and wiser way to say money! Tomorrow we're going to see the new Karate Kid, which I'm looking forward to.
Well, it's getting late and I'm in the mood to watch a movie now, so i better sign off! I hope you all had a wonderful, safe summer and look forward to fall that's coming around the corner! :)
