Are you ever wondering how to make Eco friendly decisions? It doesn't have to take much to make a difference at home, school or any where you go! Cutting back on certain things can do so much, like even turning off the facet when you brush you're teeth. A classic, but very important! Below are tips that you can easily adjust into your life and love to do at the same time!
1. After using the computer, i always put it on stand by. Not only does it use NO power, i can easily turn it on less then thirty seconds instead of shutting down the whole system!
2. When drinking out of a soda can, toss in the recycling instead of the regular trash, or smash and collect to earn some $.
3. Encourage your family to go to the farmers market! Not only is the veggie and fruit more local, its cheaper then the actual grocery store.
4. When taking a shower, use warm, but not hot water. Studies say using warm water over hot can lessen the chance of your skin drying out. Plus, it lowers the use of hot water wasted!
5. Volunteer or donate money to a organization that gives back to the earth!
6. To fragrance your room or house, take water and (real) essential oils and make a yummy room spray (totally works and freshens the house!) Store bought fragrance (artificial kinds) are bad for you and the environment! When buying one, make sure it's actually REAL essential oils, not fake ones!
7. Dont FORGET to turn off the lights when you leave the room! You can save ALOT of energy!
8. Have indoor plants in your room! Having plants in your room is so healthy! One, its a natural filter in your room and Two, it gives you more fresh air and natural deco!
9. Use organic hair products for your hair! Keep it healthy!
10. Be aware of your choices! Before you do something ask yourself, is this Eco friendly? Making the right decisions is the trail to a clean and healthy Earth!
These tips are fun, fresh and every day things we can change! It only takes you to change your life style and make better Earth aware choices! The Earth is counting on you! Make her proud!
Happy Eco Day!
