Hello All!

Some of you have read my poetry i write every so often. I don't write this when I'm bored or is a what ever mood, i write these lines when i get inspired or am feeling something that turns into poetry. i am usually not a poetic person, more a writer, but when I'm sad, or mad, or just plain confused, writing in poems helps and gives me a chance to release my feelings in a different way.

Flagstaff and Italian Food

Okay, yesterday my youth group ventured into flagstaff, all crammed into a white van. We listened to music, ate corn nuts (well, actually me :P) and chatted endlessly. We found the most awesome snowy hill ever! It would have be SOOO long if the park rangers didn't put up gates between with signs that said DANGER SLEDDING AND SKIING ARE PROHIBITED. But of course, what do you think the youth group did anyway? We walked up the hill till our lungs burst, sled till our butts froze and did the train sled till we tipped over! It was so awesome!

After awhile we drove to Flagstaff town, our jeans soaked and bums numb. our leader Jake(a.k.a rock star who met Adam Young from Owl City before he was FAMOUS!) split us into groups so we could venture around. Sarah and i ended up in Jake's group with 4 others girls with us and a group leader. Jake didn't bring a lunch and was craving pizza, so we all bunched into a fancy Italian restaurant awkwardly. it was the most awkward for me, because i had to eat my lunchable at the fancy table and the waiter kept coming over. :O Jake ordered appetizers, to split with us, and pizza for him and the other group leader.

10-15 minutes later, after much discussion overt the wildest of things, our appetizer arrived. Brave me, tried the Calamari in some strange sauce! It was okay, just very weird and chewyish (just so you know, calamari is squid) Yes, i know you're probably thinking im insane, but it was kind of nice...to try new things! Well we also had delicious...oh i cant remember what it's called! well it was toasted bread with tomato sauce, swiss cheese and good bacon! Yum!

Jake was SO nice, he also got some Italiano cake things and another thing to share with everyone! "Little piece of heaven," Our other group leader said. And yes, i agree. Pure chocolate, holiness! (Thanks Jake! :) )

Well, so after that the groups came together, we bunched into the two vans and drove to our sledding area once again. I sledded for a little bit, but mostly sat and watched. The woods were so peaceful and the snow sparkled beautifully! About two hours later, again we got in the car, and drove home with a couple of pit stops. It was fun and had us snowed out with Flagstaff and Italian Food!

Teen Magazines

Okay, this is another babbling/opinion session.

Today, i really want to talk (well, type actually) about teen magazine.

One in perspective.

Seventeen magazine.

The other day i brought one issue at CVS, thinking it would be cool to read. So i was flipping through the magazine, every page having at least one model or clothing on there, advertising it. i was disappointed, because one, these girls look absolutely fake! Why cant they show real beauty to boost non-model girls self esteem? Teen girls feel like their too ugly or fat when they see these computer skinny girls in xs clothes, glowing. it isn't right to do that.

second, instead of giving life advice, most of it was how you looked. your hair, clothes, body, makeup. i didn't see one article on life, and your true self. Thats the true key to success and belieiving in your self.

Sure, having a section for beauty products and makeup is totally fine, but the WHOLE magazine was on fashion. I didnt get excited for anything as i read it. there was nothing that stuck. Some people might feel different about it, but its my opinion. i just dont think the world should make a teen magazine based on how thin or pretty you look. it should be based on true beauty, inside AND out, and how to get through sticky situations.

One magazine, that i love, is based on life, true beauty, growth and some fashion. its Girl's Life magazine. they have articles on how to deal with life problems, boost your self esteem, show your inner beauty. i absolutely prefer it to any teen girl out there!

So any teen girl out there, when your flipping through magazines, feeling depreseed that you'll never look the way these models do, REMEMBER, they are fake!!! they use computers to give them the perfect curves, eyes, legs, etc! Remember God made you for you!

Red Nose Ally

Ahh, so the last week Ive been swimming NON stop! I got these cool scuba fins and i feel so powerful when i wear them and then i take them off, my feet feel floppy. Strange, but today i buttered up in sunscreen and swam for an hour and 1/2 without reapplying sunscreen on. I don't know how long you should go with out reapplying, i but got burn bad. Only on my NOSE. Not the tip or bottom, but were my nostrils are on the side. TMI, but true!

SO maybe next time i should check the time, or i wouldn't have a pained, burning nose.

Well bed is calling and so is my burnt nose, but i wish everyone a good night and sleep tight!

Little Splerge

Treat yourself to DIY facial scrubs and cleaners! Here are a couple how-to's that make your skin, soft clean and refreshed for these upcoming summer days!

Skin Toner

1 cup witch hazel 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/4 tsp. mint extract

1. Mix ingredients together. Drop in fresh peppermint leaves for an extra kick. 2. Dab on your face with a cotton ball to hydrates skin and remove excess dirt from pores.

Coffee/Honey Scrub

Used Coffee Grinds (you can fresh too, but they’ll a little softer when they’re used) Honey

Olive Oil Granulated Sugar

Pour equal parts coffee and sugar into the jar. Pour equal parts honey and olive oil into the jar and mix. Feel free to start small with the amounts and experiment until you get a consistency you like. Use generous portions out of the jar and scrub scrub scrub!

Lady Gaga

Everyone loves Lady Gaga, and so do i! The outfits? Not so much. Sure, that makes her Lady Gaga, but would she be as famous and spunky without her crazy outfits? Probably not. She has pure talent, and in my opinion, her outfits seem a way to hide from the crowd. Without her costumes, she would'nt be Lady Gaga. What type of person would she be if she was in a formal dress and singing poker face?

Yeah, pretty much explainable.

Sometimes, she pushes the limits.

Like posing for the Rolling Stones magazine, Gaga is only in some clear bubbly outfit, Nothing shows, but its pushy and showy. And shes posed for the Cosmopolitan in a bra and undies. Why do we have to be almost naked to show our true beauty? Materialistic...

Recipe Time!

Today, i am going to share a delicious AND nutritious meal, my family and i adore.
its very simple and easy, yet so tasty!

Things Needed:

Two Large Tomatoes
Two Cucumbers
Small Size Block of Mozzarella
Turkey Pepperoni (optional)
Spices(Suggested: Italian, garlic, basil, thyme,) Or your other favorites
Olive Oil
Directions to this Fab Meal:

Dice tomatoes
Dice Cucumber
Dice Mozzarella
Dice Pepperoni (If used)
Then put a good amount of oil on (not too much that it's really oily or puddling)
Then put on your selected spices. Season to taste.
And wala! You have a scrumptious meal that satisfies, gives you good veggies and has good protein to0!

Fearless

I could call myself this, in only one category. Swimming in March or February if i could could. Yes, in just a few minutes i am going swimming. Hopefully i dont freeze to death! All i need in my fins, goggles, towel and body warmth! Ha, well i love my readers if i dont survive!

Princess and the Frog

Yesterday, i watched Princess and the Frog with my 3 year old cousin. The beginning was sweet and touching, till the middle of the movie came on. There is a particular character who gives me the creeps and is inappropriate in this movie. You see lots of scenes, where he's using witch craft, voodoo, demons and it was harshly drawn. If i was 3 or older, the scenes would have blown me away. and not in fascination. i am very disappointed they decided to put witch-craft and spell practice into this movie for young eyes. little ones could have tooken it wrong and the shady scenes of spirits trying to catch them, its disturbing.
i like the story on the movie. Some, perhaps. I like how they have a young woman trying to live her dreams and is fighting and not giving up to get them. yes, that is very sweet, but i don't prefer fortune telling, spells, voodoo, witch-crafts, lurking spirits at all in this movie!
Thank goodness my cousin fell asleep before this part, for she would have been FREAKED out of her mind.
So if you or someone else might want to go see this with their princess, i suggest going to screenit.com for the ratings and anything pushy that you might agree on.

To all the little and big girls who lost their father's love

Unorganized Teen?

Okay, my whole life i have been organized, my sister...well let's just says she sorta the opposite. it's not a bad thing, you just have to remember to pick up after yourself. its the golden rule in a clean life.

So here is a list to keep your room clean, without having to reserve a time to de-clutter up the WHOLE thing!

1. Pickup after your self. Clothes on the floor? Put it away! Messy desk after homework, quickly put them back where you got them. it's so simple and if you stick to that, then you'll barely ever have a mess!

2. Organize...yes this may take a little time out of your day. Organize you desk, closet, shelf, whatever is piling up with junk. Once you spent the hour or two organizing, make a vow to keep it clear and well sorted. When you do this, it wont get messy again, so then you dont have to organize it again.

3. Give away. There is gonna be a time Chica you need to give it away. clothes you never wear anymore, jewelry that's dusting, decorations you have stored in the closet. it may be hard to detach yourself from these, but keep in mind these two things. one, when you donate to a thrift store, it gives low income people a chance to have things they couldn't afford regularly.. two, getting rid of the things you dont need, decreases your clutter and sets a stress free environment in your room.

4.Little each day. Take 15-20 minutes a day tidying up your room. Doing this small amount of time and work, magically makes your room cleaner and bigger. Who wants to be in a cramped room with stuff everywhere? Not only will it make you feel claustrophobic, but can raise your stress levels. Believe me, clean rooms give a sense of calmness and security.

5. Fragrant it up. Spritz a little of your fav perfume or air freshener. it adds cleanliness and freshness to the room. Open your window for the day, let the air flow through and wash away all the still air. It makes the room cooler and washes stinkiness away!

these are a few simple steps to a more organized room. do they same for your locker, closet, trunks, etc. having a sparkling room lets you have an escape in the warmth and freshness you get when its clean. of course, you dont have to sterilize it, just get rid of that chewed up pencil in your desk! show yourself through posters, artwork, chic deco, anything that's you, and still look nice and organized.

Eclipse Movie Trailer

I heard that the official Eclipse movie trailer came out, so i hurried to YouTube to find it! I made sure not to get the fan made and clearly when you watch it, you can tell its not fan made.
im more in love with the books then with the movies.
Honestly, Edward looks somewhat constipated and pasted with powder. The acting is okay, but i was not happy when twilight came out. New Moon was allot better and i like that one more, so hopefully Eclipse is allot more professional.

Are you team Edward or Jacob?

Hmmm...i dont know. Edward and Jacob go back and forth bothering me, like in New Moon Edward left Bella FOREVER (so she thought). Then Jacob in this movie is trying to get Bella on his side, which is annoying too. So if i had to choose life over death, then you win Edward. Not for your looks, but your understanding and love for Bella.

Random Talk

So far it seems as if i have been advertising! Chocolate, books, etc?

Well, i dont know if i have interesting things to say about my life people would drool over.

Oh well.

So i'll tell you about tomorrow.

Tomorrow, my Auntie and i are going yard selling together. She's looking for a patio set, me...well anything that looks cool and i can stash into my room. i have been going yard selling very often this year and last, and surprisingly my room in very clean! It might be my somewhat OCDish to keep my room clean at all TIMES! I mean, i cant go to bed without picking things off the floor and clothes draped over my rickety chair.

Anyways, for a girl who is very tidy, i crave to yard sale.

finding old treasures scattered across the lawn or garage, bingo, you've got my attention. i guess it in the genes and the way i have been raised. my mom's family grew up with little money so it forced her, to make the things she wanted, yard sailing, diy, all that jazz. she passed on the crafty, yet thrifty knowledge to me and it makes you more, whats the word, spunky?

Here you will see my tick to tock schedule when i wake up super EARLY to yard sale:

Wake up around 6:30 or 7:00

Get dressed

brush teeth/freshen up

slip on shoes and jacket

get in car

get Starbucks and pastry

AND yard sale.

Craving Chocolate?

Are you a chocolate craver? I am If there was one chocolate brand i could eat for the rest of my life, it would be Dove Rich Dark Chocolate. Chance to Travel

Given the chance to travel, i would start screaming YES! Not really, i am so not a screamer, but getting the chance to travel Europe would be so great!

And i think i might have gotten the chance. The other day i was surfing the web for mission trips for teens. i found a great site, reign ministries. it's a non-denominational Christian group, that does yearly mission trips. I found one called the Euroquest, were a group of teens and counselors travel western Europe for 6 1/2 weeks. During this time period they go through England, France, Poland, Germany, etc, sharing God's word! The organization sounds so awesome and so does the group! I really want to go next year and i think it may happen! i just have to work, work, work!

How Long Can I Blog For?

Yesterday i said i had a problem with starting and closing blogs. And yes, i really do. I cant seem to keep one blog or at least remember to blog. But it is life, yes?

Well today i am going to make a vow to blog at least every other day and if i'm SUPER busy, then well you might not hear from me in a while. Not really, but ill try my best to blog.

Maybe this can be my steam release page others can see. But now im not really mad and if i talk about someone im mad at and they see it...then thats my problem.

Hello Readers and Bloggers,

I have to honor today to give a little toast to those bloggers who post every day. Nothing like an updated blog. You have done good, keeping it spicy, fresh and original for you and your readers sake.

I personally love to blog, but like the person i am, i often forget or make another blog and go in the blogger circle. I have tried many kinds or blog websites, templates, etc to make the perfect and interesting blog that draws readers eyes too.

I have made blogs about mermaids, diaries, fairies, Sim 3 unfortunately, but i have now decide to make it whatever and whenever i want. there will be no official topic, but just a little glimpse of Ally.
