Sorry about that, i keep flaking out don't i? My excuse this time is that i started school and have been crazy non-stop since. And boy, aren't the people interesting. I go to an art high school, so there are a different bunch of. You can hear the weirdest of conversations. you have to be quiet and think into blending into the walls.

The teachers are nice and some of them showing their inner child sometimes. the homework is alright, but i don't know if I'm prepared for more once the year really starts .

i know this post is way to short, but its really hard to do this with the baby crying.

I am so craving some fish tacos right now. They just sound so yummy with the creamy sauce and fresh cabbage! Too bad we aren't having that for dinner! :(

Long Time

Wow, it's been a long time since i actually sat down and not posted something in a rush. And I'm completely sorry, but real life has been very crazy! of course i do love my world wide web readers out there, just ya know! :)

This week my Mom and Dad got re-baptized and it was so great! Our friends and family attended our church to see it and it was a beautiful moment. You could feel the newness that they felt when baptized and risen out of the water.

Afterward, everyone came over to have lunch and socialize with us. Sarah made this incredible pineapple salsa, and from the girl who doesn't usually like fruit salsas, this was SO good! I wish i could send you a taste.

A few days ago, i got my new glasses, since my old ones were about two years old and wore down from the many times Isaiah (lil bro) liked to suddenly grab them and fling them on the floor. Sweet times, but anyways on the outside it's shiny black and the inside is a hot pink. Surprisingly, it looks really good. Sophisticated, wild and a lil flair!

Next week I'm going to be an official highschooler! Im really nervous and excited at the same time, so my stomach flips whenever i think about, so i keep trying to tell my self i will be okay. but I'm really just happy to get this oppourtinuty to go to the school I'm going to because its really great and my Uncle went there and he's really great! Anyone who's in high school or was in high school have any tips, tricks, etc? Wish me luck! :)

ohh, i almost just forgot to say this!!! My mom, sister and i have been going to the cheap movie theater this last week. it's only $2 a person and you get to see an awesome movie! We saw Letters to Juliet and i highly, so VERY highly suggest this movie! It's so sweet, funny, romantic and not an ounce of trashiness. It's a defiantly to see movie! Yesterday we saw Killers, which was really funny. i had a little doubts, but it was actually really good!! Then my Dad, Sarah and i went and saw Iron Man 2. Really cool in someways but disappointing in others. (really just the trashy parts, but what do you expect with sci-fi, super heroes and a room full hard core fans?)

Either way, it was so much fun seeing all those movies and a better and wiser way to say money! Tomorrow we're going to see the new Karate Kid, which I'm looking forward to.

Well, it's getting late and I'm in the mood to watch a movie now, so i better sign off! I hope you all had a wonderful, safe summer and look forward to fall that's coming around the corner! :)

My Aunt Leah made this really good Chinese salad for us last night. There's cabbage, chicken, crunchy noodles with almonds, drizzled in a sesame sauce! i can still taste it now, so delicious!

Isaiah's Commercial

Isaiah is 1 years old and a very active child! He's always on the go, getting in trouble or finding himself adventures. It is very rare when he sits still, and that only lasts a few minutes. But the one thing on TV that catches his eyes and holds his attention is this AT&T commercial. It's super adorable when he watches it. He seems to really concentrate on the TV.

i have no idea why this interests him, but here it is...

My 14 month old cousin is in the hospital now as i type. it started off that my Aunt went to the urgent care because Asa had a fever. At the urgent care they did some blood work and only hours ago called her to tell her to bring over Asa immediately for tests. So now poor sweet Asa has to have a spinal tap and i need everyones prayers! He is such a sweet boy with a charming smile and spirit! Thank you everyone for your support!

Please pray that he is safe and will come home safety!

Midnight Chocolate Lovers

A small handful of dark or milk chocolate hits that craving

My beauty of a sister made this precious cake for my birthday! Hand made gum paste flowers, chocolate bark bordering the cake and dark chocolate frosting lathered across the dark chocolate cake. It makes my mouth water right now as i type. She truly is so talented in cooking, and im so glad that she got to make my cake then someone else!

My 4th of July

Bringing the Ball Park to you, gourmet style!

Another creative food, another story. I was going threw the pantry, trying to find SOMETHING suitable for lunch and out of thin air thought of this. Hot dogs and cornbread, cake style. Ha, i know, weird and sort of gross? Wrong, im surprised myself! Really good, and bringing the ballpark to you without the sweat and screams, but with your traditional corn dog fancied up. All you need is cornbread packets and turkey hot dogs, and put into a cake pan!!. So try this idea for lunch or dinner. Really easy, and perfect for any occasion!

The other day i took a photo frame, some bent little spoons, flowers, and hot glue gun and spun it together. And wah Lah! I had this perfect jewelery holder for earrings, my flower heads bands and more! It is so convenient to get to and is also super cute and easy to make!

Yesterday afternoon i was inspired to make something else for lunch other then cheese sandwiches and toast. Just Kidding! So i took out the pot, boiled pasta noodles and threw together this lovely dish. Goat Cheese Pasta with Pesto Basil Dressing.

Isn't that tempting?

Since i love you all dearly, maybe you would like the recipe?

It's not a professional recipe, just the ingredients. You can add as much or little as you like

Basil Pesto. i made mine from a packet which has still the yummy flavor or regular pesto, but low in calories, and no fat.

Pasta Noodles. No macaroni noodles, something fancy and elegant.

Cherry tomatoes. We get ours out of the garden, so it's fresh and organic.

Goat cheese. Yum, the creamiest cheese ever you can find at almost every grocery store.

Chicken which is optional for more flavor and protein to even out the carbs.

And fresh plucked basil on top. You can alway tear it up and mix it in for intense flavor to your spoiled taste buds. You can find basil at the store also, moist and packaged.

Not only is this healthy and nutritious, you are treating your taste buds to a really easy and fast recipe that will please anyone! :)

Oh My Goodness!

I didn't realize how long it has been since i had last blogged. I couldn't find anything clever, exciting to blog about without filling the spaces with unnecessary mumble jumble talk.

Well June 24th was my birthday and i am proud to say i am now officially 14! Yeah! I got a phone, which i am so glad i cant even speak (hehe, this is why im typing :P). I cant even tell you how nice a phone will be, (not to talk to my friends only of course) but to be able to use the phone without limited minutes, being new and able to text as MUCH as i want!!! Breathe, Ally, Breathe. :) (!!!!!)

My cousin came over yesterday for dinner at a Mexican restaurant, whom is one of my favorite cousins and the only around my age! He's the best and very fun!

Went back home and had delicious dark chocolate cake that my sister made (hopefully i can get some pics on soon) It was so adorable and so precious! Sarah, is truly a good baker! :) <3

Later, after presents and some Super Mario on the wii, everyone went home. It was such a fun and magical birthday with my family there! Love Ya Guys!

P.P.P.S Oh fine ill tell you. For another one of my birthday gifts, my Mom took me to a photographer place in the mall and let me get some good pics of myself. They did my make up (which was very stylish, though alot) and took probably hundreds of pics in the three-four hours there! Loved it though, felt like a super star!
